étoile Asscher & Reservoir Swatches/Review

Good morning, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent the weekend in Philadelphia visiting my best friend, so I'm exhausted but we had a great time! Today I have a couple of gorgeous wedding colors for you from one of my favorite brands, étoile.

Asscher is a sheer white packed with shimmery diamond dust. This is three coats.

Reservoir is a beautiful blue/gray shade that was perfect in two coats. The formulas on these polishes are fantastic!

These polishes retail for $18 each. They are certainly on the higher end of the price scale, but I personally think they are worth it. Plus, they all have diamond dust in them! Fancy! You can check out these and other shades on their website: www.etoilepolish.com. What do you think?

Nicole by OPI Tink Collection Swatches/Review

Happy Friday everyone! These polishes are part of the limited edition Tink collection by Nicole by OPI. They became available at the beginning of the month and are sold exclusively at Walgreens.

Sweet on Pete is a vibrant yellowy lime green. I used two coats.

Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary is a bright tangerine shade. Lovely for summer, but not terribly original. Two coats.

Tink's in the Pink is a very bold shade of fuchsia. I used two coats of polish.

Half Charming/Half Alarming is a coral-leaning red. Again, not terribly original, but really pretty and great for summer. This is two coats.

There are two other shades in this collection as well, a soft light pink and a glitter topcoat. Have you spotted these at your local Walgreens? Will you be hunting any of them down?

SoFlaJo My Sign's Aquarium Swatch/Review

Hello! Today I have a new beauty from SoFlaJo's Wet Dreams collection to share with you. My Sign's Aquarium is a cool shade of aqua that dries with a satin finish. It's not quite as green as it looks in my photos, but it was a little difficult to capture correctly. This first photo shows two coats alone so you can see the satin finish.

This second photo has two coats of My Sign's Aquarium with topcoat. The topcoat really brings out the glitter!

This polish, as well as the others in the collection, are available for purchase now from SoFlaJo's website. Do you like satin/matte finishes or do you prefer your manis with topcoat?

This products was sent to me by SoFlaJo in exchange for an honest review.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Kellie Gonzo & Liberty Swatches/Review

Good morning everyone! I have great news: I have posts scheduled for this whole week and the beginning of next week! I'm starting a new job tomorrow, but I still have some extra time to blog now that I'm finished working on the book. And speaking of the book, I was told that it will hopefully be released late next spring! I can't wait to see it completed!

Today I have swatches of two shades from Rescue Beauty Lounge's Blogger 2.0 collection, Kellie Gonzo and Liberty. Kellie Gonzo is a gorgeous juicy coral with gold flecks. I was hesitant to buy this one even though it's gorgeous because I was worried that I would need three or four coats for opacity. What you see here is two coats and I'm perfectly happy with the coverage. The formula was a little on the thick side, but it dried quickly.

Here is a bottle comparison of Kellie Gonzo on the left and RBL Coral on the right. Coral is a bit brighter and pinker and obviously doesn't have the gold flecks that Kellie Gonzo does.

Liberty is a pale mint green with silver shimmer. I used two coats here as well and the formula was pretty normal.

RBL polishes retail for $20 and can be purchased here. I'm not sure when the public release of this collection will be, so keep updated with their Facebook page for more info. I'm very happy that I got both of these and can tell you already that I'll probably have Kellie Gonzo on my toes for the remainder of the summer! Did you pick up any shades from the preorder of this collection?

Zoya Stunning Collection Swatches/Review

Better late than never, right? Today I have my review of the Zoya Stunning collection for you all. Before I get to the photos, I want to point out that I did have some formula issues with these polishes. They weren't horribly awful, but they weren't the typical, awesome formula that I expect from Zoya.

Josie is a medium grass green shade. This was two careful coats.

Darcy is a bright sunshine yellow that was very temperamental, but I expected it from a bright yellow like this. I used three coats.

Yana was the only one out of the bunch that didn't give me any issues. This is two coats of the beautiful, bright, warm pink.

Thandie is a cross between a melon and tangerine shade. This is two coats.

Rocky is a beautiful bright summer sky blue. I used two coats and had a bit of formula issue here as well.

Micky is a cooler pink than Yana. This is two coats.

The Stunning collection is available for purchase now on Zoya's website. Although I did have a bit of an issue with the formulas on these, I would still recommend them because they are great bright shades for summer! Yana and Rocky are my favs!

Happy 4th of July Nail Art

After finishing up the 500 nail art designs for the book, I can't believe that I still had the desire to do my nails for the 4th of July, but I did! Things should be getting back to normal around here very soon and I hope you're as happy as I am about that!

So anyway, I was originally planning on doing a totally different design on each nail, but decided that I wanted them to be a bit more unified. I decided on stars and stripes for the ring and middle nails and a glitter gradient for the pinky and index nails. The white is Milani White on the Spot, red is Zoya Sooki (which photographed more orange than it looks in real life), and blue is China Glaze First Mate. The glitter for the gradient is Shimmer Nichole.

For my thumbs, I decided to do a red, white, and blue gradient with Shimmer Alice on top. The white got overwhelmed by the red and blue, but I still think it turned out pretty good.

I'll be spending my 4th of July with my family on my grandparents' property, enjoying delicious food, sun bathing, and watching our own personal fireworks show! Do you have any exciting plans for the day?
