Zoya Tickled Collection Swatches/Review

Happy Friday all! Anyone have any fun plans for Mother's Day weekend? I'm going camping with my family and I can't wait! Just hoping it doesn't rain... but today I have something to brighten your day! The Tickled collection from Zoya consists of six bright, dreamy cremes that you won't be able to resist!

Kitridge is a bright bubblegum pink creme. Formula was a little thick, but two coats got the job done. I don't typically like shades like this against my skintone, but I know there are a lot of you out there who will absolutely love this one!

Wendy is my favorite of the collection; it's a juicy melon shade that will be taking up permanent residence on my toes for the next month or so! This is two easy coats.

Rooney is a medium magenta that seems like it could be Zoya Reagan's brighter sister. This is two coats.

Rocha is a knockout red-orange creme! If you want to get noticed on the beach this summer, slap this shade on your nails! Two coats, great formula.

Tilda is a very unique shade of green and while it doesn't look the best with my skintone, I can't help but like it! I'm wearing two coats.

Ling is an incredibly vivid royal blue. Perfect in two coats.

This collection is incredible, I just love a good creme-based collection! All of these polishes are worth checking out, but my top picks are Wendy and Ling. These polishes can be purchased at www.zoya.com and retail for $9 each.

OPI Brazil Collection Swatches/Review

Good morning everyone! Today I finally have my OPI Brazil swatches to share with you! This collection is super bright and fun... perfect for summer! There's also a nice mix of light and neutral shades that compliment the brights very well. Let's get to it!

Toucan Do It If You Try is a juicy orangey-coral. The formula was a little thick and I found that my second coat dragged a bit if I wasn't careful. You're looking at two coats.

Live.Love.Carnival. is my absolute favorite in this collection and suprise! It's coral! It's darker and pinker than Toucan Do It If You Try and it's just totally perfect. The formula again is a little thick, but I was able to apply two coats fairly easily.

Kiss Me I'm Brazilian is a bright bubble gum pink. You want Barbie pink? Here it is. This is two coats.

Where Did Suzi's Man-go? is the most gorgeous cantaloupe-colored shade that I've ever seen in polish! The formula was good too and I used two coats.

I Just Can't Cope-acabana is a vivid yellow that has a good formula! It isn't sheer at all at two coats and applied pretty well too.

I Sao Paolo Over There is a faded eggplant shade. I love these dirty neutrals! This is two coats and it had a perfect formula.

Don't Bossa Nova Me Around is a light pink-putty shade. This will be a great neutral choice for summer! Great formula, two coats.

Red Hot Rio is a red jelly polish. I guess it wouldn't be an OPI collection without at least one red, but I'm glad that there's only one. This isn't anything exciting. Two coats.

Taupe-less Beach is a light taupe that leans a little to the purple side. This is two coats.

Next Stop... The Bikini Zone is a shimmery purple duochrome with gold and bronze shimmers. This is the one polish that sticks out in this collection as not belonging. All the other shades are bright and cremes and this one seems like it would fit better in a fall or winter collection. It's a little sheer and needed three coats for what you see here.

OPI Scores a Goal! also seems like it could fit in a fall collection, but I just love it! It's a deep raisin creme that was perfectly opaque in two coats.

Amazon... Amazoff is a deep teal green that was a teensy bit sheer, I did two coats here but I'm seeing a little bit of nail line at the tips when I look closely so three probably would have been better.

Overall, I think this collection really hit the mark! Most of these shades are fabulous for summer and I'm excited that there was a good yellow in here. I generally dislike wearing yellow, but it's great to have a good one for nail art! And can we talk about how amazing the names are? Seriously, I was cracking up as I swatched them! Bravo to whoever named this batch!

China Glaze Sea Goddess Collection Swatches/Review

Good morning and happy Friday everyone! Today I have some awesome spring textures from China Glaze. These six polishes are part of the Sea Goddess collection and are such a unique group of colors!

Tail Me Something is a beautiful lilac with darker purple textured pieces. The formula was good on this one and I used two coats.

Sand Dolla Make You Holla is a pretty shade with an idiotic name. The pinkish white base is filled with pink and blue glitter. The formula here was also good; two coats were needed for opacity.

Shell We Dance is a gorgeous hot pink texture. I used two coats here as well.

Seahorsin' Around is a fabulous teal blue texture, seriously, this photo does not do it justice! It's like mermaid scales! The formula here is great and what you're looking at is one coat.

Teal the Tides Turn is a temperamental mint green shade. This one gave me the most trouble of the bunch; I used two coats but it dragged quite a bit and didn't cover as nicely as the others.

Wish on a Starfish is a baby pink shade with beautiful golden shimmer throughout. I didn't notice the gold shimmer at first in the bottle and was pleasantly surprised when I went to photograph this swatch. No formula issues here; this is two coats.

These are definitely a great, fresh take on textures and I'm excited to work them into some nail art for the summer! I'm curious to know what you guys think about textures though... are you over them? Are you impatiently waiting for more to be released? These shades are available now and can be purchased anywhere that China Glaze polish is sold!
